Meet Our President.
Greetings & welcome to A & N Healing Hearts. My name is Nicole White. My first love is physical therapy and my second love is nursing. I come from a background of people with heart and people with passion. As a little girl I enjoyed the Take Your Child To Work Days so much that I started to learn more about my mother’s work. You see, my mother was a secretary at Cook County Hospital on the pediatric floor, she was the problem solver extraordinaire and the person who offered a stabilizing hand, a comforting and healing feeling to the medical and nurse staff just by her presence in any situation. When it was time for college, my first love took over and I became a physical therapy assistant. After a decade and a half of working in physical therapy, helping patients get better and regain their physical health, I discovered firsthand that there is a significant gap between hospitalization and geriatric wellness. To better understand how to help the “whole person” who is a patient, I became a nurse. Working in multiple health care settings I discovered that there is also a revolving door between the hospitals, rehabilitation centers and the home partially because many patients and caregiving families have difficulty finding appropriate, reliable, trustworthy, competent and life enhancing care.
A & N Healing Hearts Inc. named after my mother and I, was born from my mother’s caring heart, her creative problem solving approach to health care, my experience as a physical therapy assistant, my expertise as a geriatric nurse specialist and my deep commitment to improve the health and wellness of those entrusted to my care.
It is my vision that the A & N Healing Hearts geriatric wellness and caregiving model will become the model of care that home and community based agencies would adopt to promote quality, personalized care with favorable outcomes for older adults and their caregiving families.

The Standards Of Practice Of Our Fully Vetted, Highly Skilled & Competent Team.
Our team is made up of:
- Registered Nurses
- Licensed Practical Nurses

- Rehab Nursing Technicians
- Caregivers
Our team members are screened in seven different ways including background checks via fingerprinting, ten panels drug screens and previous employment references. In providing services, our team members maintain the following standards of practice:
🟥 A & N Staff will conform to all principles of the Home Care and Resident Bill of Rights.
🟥 A & N Staff will NOT BRING FRIENDS OR RELATIVES TO THE home or residence of a client.
🟥 A & N Staff maintains good grooming by wearing appropriate attire per the dress code, short and safe fingernail length, minimal jewelry, minimal perfume and minimal make-up.
🟥 A & N Staff will never smoke in the home of the client or in the community where the client calls home.
🟥 A & N Staff will not accept money, “tips”, or gifts from the client or their family member.
🟥 A & N Staff will not borrow from a client or loan money to a client or family member.
🟥 A & N Staff will not do the client’s banking or make purchases for the client.
🟥 A & N Staff will not give the clients their personal phone numbers.
🟥 A & N Staff will not become some media friends and associates with the client or client’s family member.
🟥 A & N Staff will NOT give medical advice to the clients.
🟥 A & N Staff will keep all their personal problems away from the client.
🟥 A & N Staff will not discuss religious or political views or beliefs with the client.
🟥 A & N Staff will not transport the client in their own vehicle without the correct insurance and documentation
🟥 A & N Staff will not consume the client’s food.
🟥 A & N Staff is never to leave the client or facility during scheduled assigned shifts except for break times that will be prearranged by the caring and staffing coordinator or person in charge.
🟥 A & N Staff will maintain accurate and complete time and attendance records.
🟥 A & N Staff will keep all client information confidential.

🟥 In most cases, we can start care or services within 24 hours of your call. Yes, we can start today.
Our clients are not required to commit to any minimum number of hours.
With us, there are no minimums and pay only for the level of care that you need.
Our Agency Has Four Departments
CARE-GIVING
Services are provided by home health aides, life enhancement caregivers, companions, and concierge caregivers. Our caregiving services are provided in private homes, assisted living facilities, independent living facilities and even nursing homes. Sometimes we are needed to provide extra care inside of these facilities.
MEDICAL MANAGEMENT, CHRONIC ILLNESS & SYMPTOM MANAGEMENT
These services are designed to reduce frequent trips to acute care, urgent care centers and rehab facilities. The care programs are designed by our nurses, therapist and geriatric care specialists.
POST HOSPITAL & POST REHAB CARE
We understand that 85% of those who go into a rehab facility do not return to their homes. We have a solution, and we help our clients get back on their feet as quickly as humanly possible after a hospital or rehab stay. We have a specialized post rehab and post hospital care program.
CARE MANAGEMENT & CARE COORDINATION
These services are provided by geriatric care managers. The goal is to make long distance caregiving easier and more gratifying for the long-distance caregiver or the very busy family caregiver.
